R.I.P Ike Turner

Just got news that Ike Turner, 76 passed away at his home today. The cause of death has not been determined but he may have died in his sleep. I’m speechless! So sad…

Earlier this year he was promoting a reality show with one of his ex-wives that tried to poison him. My fondest memory is an interview he had with a detroit radio station a few months back. Listen to the interviews here.

    I only remember Ike because of his role in ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It’ played by Larry Fishburne opposite Angela Bassett who of course played…Tina Turner. Nonetheless, this is pretty not-so-good news and I am sure he will be missed by many.
